DES MOINES, IOWA — Video taken from a McDonald’s Drive-Thru window shows the moment a hangry customer loses her cool, and gets into a fight with restaurant staff.
On June 3, the woman and her two male friends walked into a McDonald’s in Des Moines, Iowa, and ordered McChickens. The restaurant was especially crowded that evening and the workers not staffed to handle it, leading the trio to wait longer than expected. They weren’t happy about it, and demanded a refund. When the staff eventually handed the woman her McChicken, she threw it back at them.
Restaurant staff later told police that when one of the employees tried to call 911 for help, the female customer climbed over the counter and knocked the phone out of her hands. After that, she started swinging punches at the employees, but was taken down by one of the staff. Video shows the melee continue for roughly 90seconds.
By the time the cops arrived, the three had reportedly taken off in a blue Ford pickup truck. The video has since racked up more than 27,000 views.
