New York subway offers 'Baby on Board’ buttons to pregnant riders

New York's subway system is offering "Baby on Board" pins for pregnant riders to help them secure them a seat while taking public transit. The yellow and blue wearable buttons are designed for other riders to give up their seats without having to be asked. New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority will also distribute "Please offer me a seat button" for seniors or disabled riders. The pin was first popularized in London, where the buttons were distributed to riders since 2005.
