April 29, 2008. This is absolutely sick. Newt Gingrich on CSPAN, when asked why the US hasn't been attacked since 9/11: "...and it's almost like [the Bush Administration] should every once in a while have allowed an attack to get through just to remind us."

This guy's a fruitcake.
He wants to run for President.
So, if he gets into office, is he going to "allow an attack to get through once in a while" to keep us in-line & grateful?
What the hell kind of thinking is that?
draconian?
dictatorial?
My vote goes to "Orwellian."
He's just one more thug one the band wagon to expand the power & control of a few over the many with fear & intimidation.
I don't want to wake up some morning with a Haliburton rifle in my face because I spoke out against these guys.
But that's where we're headed if very many people buy into their propaganda.

The Bush administration didn't stop or prevent a single attack, it just claims it did. If one looks at global statistics, one realizes that any one individual in the world is hundreds of times more likely to be struck by lightning than to be hurt or killed in a terrorist attack. Terrorism is the least of the world's problems. Newt Gingrich lies with every breath he takes. Don't let him fool you.
