Farmers sic dogs on fox and laugh, upload cruel video to Facebook

BODMIN, CORNWALL, ENGLAND — An unsuspecting fox made the grave mistake of sneaking into a barn in England, and suffered a long, drawn-out death at the hands of two dogs, under the command of their twisted owners.

Farmers Jack Crocker, 41, and Robbie Long, 21, found the fox poking around their property, and let loose their hounds, Lady and Princess, to ravage the poor creature mercilessly. With nowhere to run and nowhere to hide, the fox was dragged by the throat,
shaken like a ragdoll, and tossed around the barn as the cruel farmers laughed.

Bitten, battered, and terrified, the fox eventually died. Clearly proud of their handling of the intruder, the farmers uploaded this video to Facebook in June of 2016. Unfortunately for them, the clip quickly caught the attention of the RSPCA, which launched an investigation. As a result, both Long and Crocker have been fined, and will serve a suspended sentence of six weeks in prison. In addition, Crocker was handed out an extra two weeks for using a crossbow to murder a wild rabbit in a separate incident.

Despite their evident disregard for the suffering of animals, the men were not banned from keeping animals in their care. However, following the court hearing, they did hand their dogs over to the RSPCA.
