North Carolina students arrested for catfishing teacher for nudes

SWANSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA — Two teenagers are in big trouble after being caught catfishing their own teacher to send them very personal photos of himself.
WNCN reports that according to the Onslow County Sheriff's Office, 16-year-old students Brian Joshua Anderson and Brittney Renee Luckenbaugh created a fake social media profile and lured their 51-year-old French teacher David Laughinghouse into what he thought was a legitimate romantic relationship.
In reality, they just wanted compromising photos of him.
Anderson and Luckenbaugh reportedly shared the photos they obtained with other students, and eventually a school official got wind of the scandalous snaps.
An investigation by the sheriff’s office revealed the teen duo’s dastardly deeds, and they were soon arrested.
They were each released on a $5,000 bond and are due to appear in court in June.
