Shakur Basti : Baby dies allegedly while 500 slums demolished in Delhi

A day after the Railways demolished more than 500 slums in the Shakur Basti area in the national capital, the dead body of a six month old is pointing fingers at the railways demolition drive. While railways said the child died at around 10 AM, two hours before the demolition drive began to clear several “fresh encroachments”. The Delhi government today ordered a magisterial probe into the demolition incident.
