First UK women's-only co-housing community arrives in north London

New Ground Cohousing is the first senior cohousing community in the country based in High Barnet, north London, and it’s only for women.The initiative is based on those in Holland and differs greatly from sheltered housing as it is the group of women living in the small community of 25 flats who are in charge.
The community houses women aged 50+ and likes to keep the age range balanced so that the energy levels stay high.
