More Than 100 Afghan Soldiers Killed in Attack on Army Base

Afghanistan’s defense ministry said on April 22 that more than 100 soldiers had been killed in an attack the day before in an army base in Mazar-e Sharif in northern Balkh province.The ministry’s statement blamed Taliban fighters for the attack.
