The Indian Hockey team have qualified for the finals of the 36th Champions Trophy for the first time, despite a 2-4 loss to Australia in the league match. India's chances were quite slim but it made it to the finals after Great Britain’s 3-3 draw against Belgium. India will now face Australia in the finals. The title clash is scheduled to be played late on Friday night. India has two wins, two defeats and a draw so far in its kitty with 7 points.
