The tornado stuff is really going down in the Rocky Mountains while where I live, I have to deal with the wildfire which can be visible as far south as San Diego and as far north as Portland, OR. About two years ago, there was a fire about 20 miles from where I lived in the foothills of Mt. Oso which seperates the Central Valley and the Bay Area. There was orange smoke which pummelled the air from about 50 miles away as the smoky air goes through the western part of the San Joquain Valley in Modesto, Turlock, Stockton, etc. Thankfully, the smoky air only lasted three days.
