Contract Pilot Genesah Duffy Details Her Journey to Becoming a Flight Instructor
  • 7 years ago
"The basic knowledge wasn't enough for me. The more I got into aviation, the more interested I got into maintenance and I started working on airplanes and really enjoyed it," Flight Instructor and Contract Pilot Genesah Duffy tells us. Genesah was pulled toward the Navy because of family ties and actually worked in interior communications on submarines in Guam. When she got out, she experimented with different career paths, but once she took her Discovery Flight at age 25, she dropped everything to go into aviation. Today, she is a seaplane instructor and just recently landed her first King Air 350 job. She knows her future lies in aviation no matter where she is and what else she may be doing.
