Katie Holmes is still trying to recover from the 2016 presidential election.

And her daughter Suri is too.

The mother of one was doing a radio interview with Jenna Bush – who knows a thing or two about presidential elections – when she revealed that she thought Hillary Clinton would win. But when she didn’t… it just hurt so badly.

Then she said it hurt her child so much as a 10-year-old and it really made her think that they have a long way to go as women.

Now, we’re not saying she doesn’t have a valid point… but we just wonder why her 10 year old would be so affected by who’s sitting in the oval office.

Because let’s be honest.

Suri Cruise will be able to do whatever she wants for the rest of her life. She might go through some hardships and might have some tough times, but given the A-list status of her parents… the world is truly her oyster.
