Iraq War - From the Eyes of Children !!!

Seeing ‘life’ through the Eyes of a Child, might sound nice… but if you happen to be a Child in Iraq or another War-Torn Country… the View of Life isn’t quite so pleasant !
I often wonder what sort of world we are leaving for our Children. Is it one that they’ll grow to appreciate and love ? What are we teaching them about looking after our planet… if they see us blowing it to pieces ? Are we in fact, destroying any chance our Children have of a future ???
I live in a relatively ‘peaceful’ Country. One where people from all walks of life, tend to get along together in peace and harmony… irrespective of Colour, Race, or Religious Beliefs. Whilst we may not go out of our way to get to know each other… we do ‘respect’ each other’s Right to Exist… and if there is a crisis, then it’s all hands in to try to help each other !
There is a major crisis happening in Iraq… and people desperately need an ‘all hands in approach’ to try to help them. If we (their fellow human beings) look the other way, and ignore their suffering… then what ‘right’ do we have to expect ‘help’ when we are in need ?
We can make this world a better place for our Children, by helping to make it a better place for ‘All Children’… and Iraq is a good place to start !
Let us in one voice, demand an end to the killing… and work together toward helping the People of Iraq secure a ‘Peaceful Future’ for their children !!!
