SEATTLE, Wa (Dawn Faugl) -- Three teens thought they had an easy car theft target, until they got tripped up by the stick shift.
The teens held up 70-year-old Nancy Fredrickson at gunpoint, as she was getting into her trunk. She says the three boys grabbed her keys and jumped into her Kia. But they ran into a big problem when they realized none of them knew how to drive a stick shift.
"I've got five speed in there and they couldn't figure out how to get it going," Fredrickson said. She sais she just stookd there as they tried to steal the car.
The teens panicked, sprinting across the parking lot and across the road to get away. And now police say that stick shift could help put them behind bars, because investigators were able to get DNA evidence from it. http://BestDramaTv.Net
