Junkyard Fire Sends Thick Black Smoke Into Baltimore Sky

A scrap metal pile sent thick plumes of black smoke into the sky in Baltimore, Maryland after it caught fire on March 24. No injuries were reported.Motorists driving through and near the Harbor Tunnel were advised by the Baltimore Mayor’s Office of Emergency Management to expect delays due to the smoke.
