National landmarks pay tribute to London attack victims

After a terrorist attack outside of the U.K. Parliament killed five people and injured 40 on Wednesday, landmarks across the world showed their solidarity to the victims. Historical London landmark, the Big Ben, which is 0.1 miles away from the crime scene, was lit red in honor of the victims. The Eiffel Tower in Paris shut off its lights at midnight for a solemn tribute. The Metropolitan Police Service flew its flag at half-staff in honor of Parliamentary and Diplomatic PC member Keith Palmer, who was killed in the attack. The lights on Tel Aviv’s city hall building in Rabin square were lit to resemble the Union Jack. Birmingham, England lit up the Library of Birmingham in the colors of the national flag of the UK: red, white and blue.
