In 2016 we sat down with two of the most formidable names in Jungle and drum’n’bass. With decades of experience within the musical movement, we plunge deep into Roni Size and Congo Natty’s impressive careers and discuss where it began, where it’s heading and everything in-between.
Roni Size’s whole life has been about building something new from whatever was around him. From Bristol youth club parties, through the white heat of rave and the foundational moments of jungle and drum’n’bass, to transforming underground electronic music into something that could be played by a live band on the biggest arena and festival stages.
Some people make a living from music but Congo Natty has dedicated a whole lifetime to his craft. Years of intensive drive and packed out shows have cemented his place within the Junglist music movement.
