They had to move a tiny ball to the center of a platform in order to get food. Researchers used a fake bee on the end of a stick to show how to move the ball. By watching the fake bee, the real bees learned to move the ball on their own. When they succeeded, they were rewarded with a sugary treat. The research proves that bees have the ability to adapt and learn new behaviors.
