Apple's spaceship campus, Apple Park to officially open in April

Apple Campus 2 has a new name—and an opening date. It’ll be called Apple Park and the first employees will move in April 2017. Apple said that it could take more than six months for the more than 12,000 Apple employees who will work there to move in. Originally envisioned by Steve Jobs, Apple Park includes 2.8 million-square-foot of space, and features the world’s largest panels of curved glass. Apple is planning to name the new theater at Apple Park the Steve Jobs Theater to honor the co-founder of Apple who died in 2011. The building will feature a visitors center with an Apple Store and a cafe open to the public. It will also be home to a 100,000-square-foot fitness center for employees, and a "secure research and development center."
