CHARSADDA: Security forces killed three suicide bombers who tried to attack a local court in Charsadda using arms and ammunition, ARY News reported.

At least four people lost their lives amid exchange of gunfire between the suicide bombers and security forces deployed at gate of the court complex.

DPO Charsadda Sohail Khalid said three suicide bombers attempted to enter the court premises, but police and other law enforcement personnel gunned down two of the attackers. One bomber managed to enter the building, however he was also shot dead by the security personnel after exchange of fire.

KP Health Minister Shahram Khan Tarakai said emergency had been imposed across hospitals in the district. “It is learnt that three suicide bombers attempted to attack the court, but police confronted them and killed two of them on the spot,” said the minister.
