Boy stabs to death 10-year-old girl he accused of bullying

LAMPUNG, INDONESIA — A 14-year-old Indonesian boy has killed a 10-year-old girl whose bullying, he say pushed him to stab her to death on February 17.
Local media reports say the boy, identified only by his initials, M.K., would sell bracelets outside school for extra cash. He says his classmate Anisa would often pass and mock him and his family for being poor.
Yet, from what he told police, it appears his designs on Anisa were mostly about stealing her own necklace, so he could resell it and buy a motorbike.
It’s understood M.K. lured Anisa to his backyard. The then drew a knife and took the necklace by force. Anisa was stabbed four times before falling into a ravine. M.K. told police he then went to check Anisa’s condition. Seeing her still alive, he took a rock and beat her until she died.
On hearing rumours that M.K. was the last person seen with Anisa, police and a crowd gathered as his home, where he was arrested the same night.
M.K. ultimately admitted in full to murdering his younger classmate. He will remain in juvenile jail while police conclude their investigation.
