Hillary Clinton says 'the future is female' in first post-inauguration statement

Former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton made her first recorded comments on the state of women's rights following the Women's March and inauguration in January. “Despite all the challenges we face, I remain convinced that yes, the future is female. Just look at the amazing energy we saw last month as women organized a march that galvanized millions of people all over our country and across the world.” MAKERS, a storytelling platform for women, is hosting an event at Rancho Palos Verdes, California. Clinton implored its attendees to “set an example for every women and girl out there who’s worried about what the future holds."
