Paris holds Mideast peace talks, Israelis and Palestinians not present

Diplomats from around the world gathered in Paris for the Mideast peace conference to discuss their stance on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. However, neither Israelis nor Palestinians nor the incoming U.S. government were present at the conference.
