Karan johar, who has produced the movie, claimed that he was very happy with the movie and also said that had his father been alive today, he would have been equally proud of the movie. incidentally, Karan's father, Yash Johar had produced the original 1990 film 'Agneepath' starring Amitabh Bachchan and Danny Denzongpa.
