Vidya Balan claimed that when she was offered the lavani/koli dance number, she readily agreed as she held Vidhu Vinod Chopra in high esteem but Chopra insisted that she watch the film and listen to the song before making up her mind. Balan said that after 'ooh la la' from 'The Dirty Picture', everyone wants to see her dance and though she is not a dancer as such, she has started to enjoy the process. she further added that working with Director Rajesh Mapuskar was fun as she knew him from 'Lage Raho Munnabhai' days
