Shahid Kapoor said that 'Mausam' was a serious and dramatic love story about two people over a period of 10 years whereas 'Teri Meri Kahaani' is a rom-com about three different couples set in three different eras. Priyanka Chopra also said that the film is not about reincarnation but about soul mates in different eras.
