Vivek Oberoi Injured While Shooting For 'Jayanta Bhai Ki Luv Story'

Had it not been for his presence of mind, Vivek Oberoi might have suffered the same fate as Amitabh Bachchan during his Coolie accident. While shooting an action scene for Kumar Taurani's next project, Vivek, who is the male lead of the film, had a narrow escape. During a fight sequence, one of the villain was supposed to hit Oberoi with an iron rod, however the artiste didn't realize that it was a real rod. When the director said action, he swung the rod towards Vivek and for some reason Vivek brought his hand between the rod and his head. The 36-year-old actor broke his hand but thankfully his head didn't suffer any injury. Sources claim that had Vivek not held his hand in front of the rod at the right time, it surely would have cracked his skull. The film, Jayanta Bhai Ki Luv Story will see him opposite Neha Sharma and the movie is slated to hit the theaters in December 2012.
