Akshay Kumar: 'I got my first film because of martial arts, not acting skills'

Actor-producer Akshay Kumar, who started his career as a martial artist before joining the film industry, is known to be quite passionate about martial arts and recently, he admitted that his acting career kick-started because of his martial arts.
At a recent event, Akki said, "Martial arts has always been my passion and I would say that I got my first film role not because of any acting skills, but because of my martial arts skills, which helped me with action sequences. When I joined this industry, I had no idea about cinema and had not even seen a camera till then."
Akshay, who was last seen in masala flick 'Khiladi 786' will be next seen in heist drama 'Special 26', which is based on real life incidents about a bunch of con-men, who pose as CBI officers to dupe rich businessmen.
