John Abraham's Hardcore Workout For 'Shootout At Wadala'

John Abraham will be next seen in Sanjay Gupta's gangland drama 'Shootout At Wadala', which also stars Anil Kapoor Kangana Ranaut, Manoj Bajpayee and Sonu Sood in pivotal roles. John, who'll essay the role of Manya Surve in the biopic, has done a lot of hard work to get into the skin of his character. Abraham beefed up for the role and claims that it took him almost half a year to achieve the right shape.
"Sanjay Gupta told me 'John I want you in great shape for this film'. It took me 5-6 months to get in shape for 'Shootout At Wadala' and I think it looks pretty decent," said the 40-year-old.
The film is based on S. Hussain Zaidi's book 'Dongri To Dubai' and will dramatize the first ever registered encounter by Mumbai police.
