Ali Zafar will be next seen opposite Yaami Gautam in E Niwas' upcoming directorial venture 'Total Siyapaa' and the 'Pakistani Prince of Pop' claims that the movie will help bring the citizens of both India and Pakistan closer. Talking about the movie and his journey in the Indian film industry, Zafar said, "My entire journey in India, till now, has been very blessed and good and I feel that I am lucky that I got such good subjects and good people to work with." "I can give it to you in writing that people of both the countries, India and Pakistan will enjoy the movie equally and this is a very tricky situation but I would like to congratulate both Neeraj Pandey for writing the film and E Niwas for his direction. Often things become sensitive when it comes to India and Pakistan but the way they have balanced humour and romance is commendable and I'm sure this film will bring people of both the nations closer," he further added. The film will also star Anupam Kher and Kirron Kher in pivotal roles and is slated to release on January 31, 2014.
