Native Birds Chill and Kill in Central NSW

A photographer captured footage of some native Australian birds in their natural habitat doing what Aussie animals do best: chilling and killing. On December 18, the animal enthusiast went bird watching in central NSW, a few kilometres north of Griffith, in an area commonly known as the “food bowl” of Australia.
He took footage a collared sparrow hawk who stole a willie wagtail chick whose parents continued to harass the hawk. He also filmed a rainbow bee eater who snagged a giant dragonfly and a spiny-cheeked honeyeater singing on a branch. Credit: Facebook/Jason Grubba via Storyful
