Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan Lock Lips For 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania'

Karan Johar has unveiled the trailer of his upcoming production venture Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, which stars Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. Though the film was highly anticipated, the trailer of the film doesn't live up to the expectations. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film revolves around happy-go lucky Humpty Sharma (Varun) and soon-to-be married Kavya Pratap Singh (Alia). While Varun plays a besotted lover trying to win over the girl of his dreams Kavya, Alia plays a die-hard Kareena Kapoor Khan fan in the movie. The two have danced, romanced and locked lips for the film but they have failed to strike a chord with the audiences. TV actor Sidharth Shukla, who plays a videsi villain/hero in the movie, also marks his debut with HSKD. HSKD which is slated to release on July 11, is Alia and Varun's second film together after Student Of The Year.
