The makers of Haider recently released a song titled Bismil from their film and the track is generating a lot of buzz courtesy its music and Shahid Kapoor's performance. At a recent event Shahid said that it was very challenging for him to dance in that song, as he had to look and dance like Haider and not ike himself. The actor also stated that the song reminds him of the famous song Ek Haseena Thi, from Rishi Kapoor's Karz as like the latter, Bismil too narrates a story and takes the plot forward. Talking about the song, Shasha said, ''It was very essential that Haider should not dance like Shahid Kapoor, Haider should have his own body language and even if he has to dance and perform he should do it in his own way. There's a great choreographer Sudesh, who has done an opera with Vishal sir, he is from Norway and when Vishal sir composed this song he was very clear that he wanted Sudesh to choreograph it, as his dance style is driven more by performance than choreography.'' ''This song comes at a point, when Haider is emotionally very upset so it was very important to make the audiences feel his emotions and Sudesh was roped in to communicate Haider's emotions through choreography,'' he further added. ''The locations at which we have shot the film, the elements that have been used in it-like the paint on my face and a 100 feet high puppet that we have used are very different. It was amazing to shoot for the song at that location. It was very challenging to perform the choreography while being in character. I love the song and it's more of a story than a song. This song reminds me of Karz's song Ek Haseena Thi, as in that too a story is being told and the plot is being taken forward,'' said the Kaminey star. Haider Is Vishal Bhardwaj's adaptation of William Shakespeare's Hamlet and it also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Tabu and Kay Kay Menon in the lead roles.
