Himesh Reshammiya: 'I'm a composer first then a producer'

Singer-music director-actor-producer Himesh Reshammiya, who has composed the music for Prabhudheva's next film Action Jackson, says that he is first a music composer and then a producer. At the launch of Action Jackson's song Keeda, when Himesh was asked what is the difference between composing music for his own production ventures and other filmmakers' movies, he said, ''I'm a composer first and that's my bread and butter. I just produced two films in between and will keep doing that but music is my core competency and I'm known in this industry because of my music. So whether I'm composing song for myself or for another producer, I make it as if it's my first song and this is how I have made all my 600 songs till now. I want to put the same integrity in all my songs as it was in my first song and as every day new people are coming, I will only have to strive more to make better music.''
