Divisive French PM expected to announce run for president

French Prime Minister Manuel Valls will on Monday announce he is running to become the Socialist candidate for president in elections next year, sources close to him have told AFP. Valls, who has a reputation for never ducking a fight, even in his own camp, may be about to embark on his biggest battle yet.
