Following a buzzy screening at Sundance earlier this year, the magic-themed coming-of-age drama “Sleight” has now finally set a release date and unveiled a first look trailer.

Jacob Latimore stars a gifted black high school student, raising his sister alone, who uses his natural gift for magic to peddle drugs. When he tries to get out of the drug business, everything starts to go awry.

J.D. Dillard directed the film which has set an April 7th 2017 release.
