Why are those who are not baffled by the fact that God sent Dhul-Qarnayn and Talut as the Mahdis of their era are baffled about the great Mahdi of the End Times?

ADNAN OKTAR: The Mahdi movement is a prevalent subject in the Quran. The subject of Surah al-Kahf is entirely about the Movement of Mahdi. The meeting with Khidr (pbuh), the mention of Dhul-Qarnayn and his reign over the world... For example, Dhul-Qarnayn was not a prophet; he was the Mahdi of his era. God sends Dhul-Qarnayn as Mahdi and this does not surprise you. He sends Talut as the Mahdi to prevail over the Goliath and it does not surprise you. But when God sends the Mahdi of the End Times, you are surprised. This does not make sense. If this is the way of Almighty God, that He always sent a Mahdi in times of hardship, and this fact is openly stated in the Quran, it means that Almighty God will also send the Mahdi of the End Times. And as far as I see, God has already sent him. It seems so according to the portents.
The Messenger of God (saas) says, "There are four kings of earth in total; two of them are from among the believers, and two are from among the unbelievers. Dhul-Qarnayn and Solomon are the ones from among the believers. Nimrod and Nebuchadnezzar are the ones from among the unbelievers. As for the fifth one, my progeny, Muhammad Mahdi will reign over the earth," says the Messenger of God (saas). In other words, he says, "I will rule over the earth". Where is this hadith written? In the 351st page of the 2nd volume of the Maktubat by Imam al-Rabbani. "Mahdi will reign over the world just as Dhul-Qarnayn and Solomon did," says our Prophet. Look, he will reign over the world just as Dhul-Qarnayn and Solomon did. (Al-Qawl al-Mukhtasar fi `Alamat al-Mahdi al-Muntazar, p.29) How do we know that this hadith is genuine? Because, it is supported by the verse of the Quran. Because the verse makes a reference to the Torah and the Psalms. When we look at the Torah and the Psalms, we see a global reign.
