An impressive video has emerged of a great white shark very closely investigating a diving cage.

The footage, shot last month off the coast of Guadalupe Island, Mexico, captures the moment the shark bites the cage bars.

"The juvenile sharks would get curious about the electrical impulses put into the water by the cages and would sometimes investigate by bumping us," the filmer wrote online.
