Religion is just a fear of death.Death scares us and it is mankind's weak infantile attempt to conquer death.Just imagine going to a heaven or hell and living there for a trillion years. It's literally impossible. Religion is just a huge human ego trip.In many philosophers opinion they state,"Who does man think he is? Man has polluted and exploited this world for his own selfish reasons.Has hunted down countless speices of animals to extinction and man thinks he's going to go to heaven and exist there forever"? It is just wishful thinking and infantile delusions.Man can't conquer death so his creation of religion is an attempt to conquer it.Everyone is afraid to die.People are chickens.Walt Whitman said in a philosophical sense,"Nothing is more beautiful than death" This doesn't mean to kill ourselves.Let's just live our lives without this going to heaven for a trillion years nonsense. This heaven mumbo jumbo will not work in today's times. At least Europe is hip to this.

DudeMark : "Be honest with yourselves people."
The same can be said to believers in god. Everything is relative as someone once said ;)

He is right about one thing, you cannot commit (like with a 7/7) to a "negative" belief, otherwise you cannot say "There are no dinosaurs left" because there is always that minute possibility that this statement is not true. However, you can commit to a "positive" belief. For instance I can, scientifically say "There are such things as giant squids". I've never seen them, but they are there, and I am 100% sure of it. Or on a better level, you can commit to saying 100% that atoms do exist. No one has ever seen them. But we know they must because the evidence says that without them, nothing could be as it is. Do you not see the difference here?
And on the atomic level, where the hell did such intricacy come from without God? Random chemicals came together? I don't think so.. Be honest with yourselves people.

OK, thanks but no thanks... please, don't post here about searching the reasons why evolution is stupid. You may have some issues with science, observable reality or, you know, facts but don't post complete non-sense. Again, thank you for not trying to convince me, it worked great.

This was just a resource I personally found to be insightful. I am new the whole blogging thing, sorry if I am spamming. There are many free resources avialable if you search the internet. For one, you can search "free bible" online. In addition, you can go to google video and search for "100 reasons evolution is so stupid" or listen to Ravi Zacharias at oneplace.com Well, I am excited you looked into what I posted and if you really want that specific book, I can order one and have it sent to you. But Jesus tells us that no one can come to him unless God draws them in John6:44. I am not trying to convince you, just trying to help you hear God "drawing" you.

trizoll79 : do we really have to pay 30$ to finally obtain ultimate truth about the veracity of God and Christianity ?
Can YOU open your eyes to the simplicity of atheism ?
And this is spamming if I'm correct... I would have prefer to see these "evidences" be free since you want to save all humans and all...

"There is a difference between proving a proposition and accepting a proposition. We night be able to prove Christianity is true beyond reasonable doubt, but only you can choose to accept it. Please consider this question to see if you are open to acceptance: If someone could provide reasonable answers to the most significant questions and objections you have about Christianity--reasonable to the point that Christianity seems true beyond a reasonable doubt--would you then become a Christian? Think about that for a moment. If your honest answer is no, then your resistance to Christianity is emotional or volitional, not merely intellectual. No amount of evidence will convince you, because evidence is not what's in your way--you are. In the end, only you know if you are truly open to the evidence for Christianity." Quote is from I Don't Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist. http://www.impactapologetics.com/product.asp?cookiecheck=yes&P_ID=813
