Please take a minute to leave a comment. Tell us why you came to see this eagle fledge!! He has 2 more siblings in the nest of 3 . Ms. In Between fledged this morning June 9 at 8:59 am. Just "Spunky now waiting for His big moment. They have had wonderful parents who helped 3 to survive. Normal hatchout is 2 eggs, with one actually making it. What a special pair.

Big Boy has safely returned to the nest several times since fledging...he is doing wonderfully!!!

Too bad the camera doesn't show more airspace to the right, isn't it? Even so, the first surge and few wingbeats are very engrossing.

Glo-thank you so much for the Big Boy video. If you could e-mail me any pictures/videos you have of our eagle family, I would very much appreciate it! Or any other pictures/sites animal related that you think is cool. I've been with these guys from the beginning, and am feelilng all the same feelings I've read in the blog. What fun this has been...I'm hooked. Thank you so much for sharing this first flight with us. And much thanks for Sharon for capturing it so we all could share this monumental moment. I want to add that although I put this video on here and an eagle web page tribute, It was another Blogger named Sharon who got up with the "rooster" OK well eagles, and actually caught it using a FRAPS program I had been introduced to watching eagles...what else!
