In recent days, men expressing their alignment with Donald Trump have allegedly attacked at least two women wearing hijabs.

In recent days, men expressing their alignment with Donald Trump have allegedly attacked at least two women wearing hijabs, reports the Washington Post. 
Both incidents reportedly occurred on Wednesday, one at San Diego State University and the other on the grounds of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. 
In the former, the victim was walking to her car when two men allegedly overpowered her, took her backpack, purse, and keys, then fled. 
According to a campus police report, the perpetrators, “made comments about President-elect Trump and the Muslim community.” 
Hours earlier, a student in Lafayette, Louisiana was allegedly beaten and robbed. The two male attackers also ripped off her head wrap. 
Police and university officials say one of them was wearing a Trump hat. 
A third assault that took place on Tuesday at San Jose State University reportedly involved a woman wearing a hijab as well, though little about her attacker is known at this time.
