100 projets pour le climat : une plateforme citoyenne mondiale

Dans la dynamique de la COP21, “100 projets pour le climat” a pour objectif d’accélérer l’émergence d’initiatives citoyennes pour lutter contre le réchauffement climatique. Cette nouvelle étape participative va permettre de concrétiser les 100 solutions les plus innovantes à travers le monde en s’appuyant sur la richesse des débats de la Conférence Paris-Climat.
Des solutions dans tous les domaines de l’action climatique
Il existe de nombreux leviers de lutte contre le réchauffement climatique. Les projets proposés par les citoyens sont le reflet de cette richesse. Ils portent sur tous les domaines de l’action climatique et s’inscrivent dans le cadre plus large de l’Agenda 2030 et de ses 17 objectifs de développement durable (ODD) adoptés au Sommet des Nations-Unies de septembre 2015. Ils concernent toutes les questions économiques, sociales et environnementales : éradication de la faim et de la pauvreté, action climatique, égalité des sexes et lutte contre les injustices… Les ODD sont une feuille de route vers 2030 pour les citoyens et citoyennes de tous les pays.

100 Projects for Climate Change
Speaking at the COP 21, Ségolène Royal called upon civil society solution providers to uphold their commitment to tackling the issues associated with climate and the environment.
The COP21 saw the introduction of an agenda of solutions also known as the Lima-Paris Action Plan - an initiative involving several dozen international coalitions of players from the world of business, authorities and associations. The 100 Projects for Climate Change platform is based on a complementary idea designed to appeal to the people of the world, those who implement solutions in the form of practical initiatives at local level. Its primary aim is to raise awareness of the huge potential of the initiatives that citizens are capable of implementing, but what lies behind the issue is the fact that these *global players* recognise and establish contact with one another to discuss and share their actions and their knowledge. In a nutshell, it means creating a community of players who are joined together by the Internet, focused on solutions for the future and wish to develop a network from what the 'makers' do.
The French Ministry for the Environment has launched a call for tenders across Internet networks with the support of two partners, the first being the Open Team association, which had already come up with what could be a global citizen platform, the second being 'Public Missions', which co-instigated and managed World Wide Views - the global citizen debate that preceded the COP21. Public Missions rallied debating networks to create a list of projects out in the field.
