This an awful thing to hear. More and more of this type of news has become increasingly common. I appreciate what the researcher are doing. Its up to everyone (If they care) to do there part. Support the people who care even if you don't. I wish the amphibians the best of luck.

Yeah, the fungus, killing them off. NATURE. If the species isn't strong enough to survive, we call that, "Natural Selection". Blame humans all you'd like but unless Lex Luthor Bioengineered this to kill off this frog, we didn't cause it! Just like letting forests burn when lightening strikes it. Let nature do what it wants... it's WAY better at solving it's problems than we are.

I find it remarkable that there are so many people who imagine that humans are so powerful so as to be able to significantly effect the ecological system. Nature shows its power over us constantly. Humans are merely part of the animal kingdom inspite of all fantasies to the contrary. As one species of animal hunts and kills another, who are we to say that our design in the world is greater than another species?
