J.Lo to star in NBC's 'Bye Bye Birdie Live!' in 2017

Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez will star in NBC's 2017 holiday musical pick, 'Bye Bye Birdie Live!' NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt announced Thursday that Lopez will play Rosie and serve as an executive producer on the show based on the 19060 Tony Award-winning Broadway musical. “Broadway musicals and films fueled my childhood and Bye Bye Birdie was one of my favorites. I’m proud to be a part of the NBC family with Shades of Blue and I thought it would be a blast to take on one of their big live musicals.”
