"John Jahnow, santon seeker" est une série télé purement aubagnaise réalisée en trois semaines avec les moyens et les gens du bord, par des étudiants de la fac d'audiovisuel d'Aubagne à l'occasion d'un stage pour la télé locale de l'époque, Canal Garlaban. Musique originale, acteurs du cru à l'accent imparable qui jouent souvent leur propre rôle, pastis, amour, action et complot aux rebondissements déroutants composent cette série à l'humour décalé qui démarre comme un diesel pour terminer à fond de cale sous l'aura mystique et pagnolesque de la montagne sacrée.
