World leaders pay last respects to Shimon Peres

World leaders and dignitaries from 70 countries poured into Israel for the state funeral of Israel’s ninth president, Shimon Peres, in Jerusalem on Friday.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu describedhim as "a great man of the world", as he led the eulogies.
Netanyahu shook hands briefly with PA president Mahmoud Abbas at the beginning of the ceremony.Barack Obama evoked the “unfinished business” of the Israeli-Palestinianpeace process as he delivered a pointed and moving tribute at the funeral.
Former US PresidentBill Clinton, who helped negotiate the Oslo peace accords between Israel and the Palestinians in the 1990s, said hewas Israel's "biggest dreamer".
Peres’s death on Wednesday at the age of 93 led to anoutpouring of tributes.
In a career spanning seven decades, Peres held nearly every major office in Israel, serving twice as prime minister, and as president from 2007 to 2014.
