Arunima Sinha: First woman amputee to climb Everest

On May 21, 2013 Arunima Sinha became the first female amputee to climb Mount Everest. She was a national level volleyball player who was pushed out of a running train by thieves in 2011 while resisting them. One of her legs had to be amputated below the knee as a result. She shared her moment of pride with inextlive in Gorakhpur.
