A young boy was distinctly unimpressed at the prospect of wearing a Donald Trump mask, throwing a tantrum and going into what his mother called “meltdown,” footage posted to YouTube on September 25 showed.
Mary Simms shared the clip of her “adorable children,” a boy and a girl, in a mall, as she picked out Halloween masks for them. While the little girl seemed happy with her Hillary Clinton mask, the boy bawled when faced with a Trump equivalent.The boy later appeared to make peace with his mask, saying that he would “Stump for Trump” in another section of the video.
Simms also posted footage of the two youngsters watching part of the first presidential debate on September 26.
Simms told Storyful: “I had seen the “stump for trump” girls on TV a few months ago being interviewed and thought they were pretty hilarious! So, along with “aloha” and a the entire alphabet – taught the kids to say “stump for Trump" as a joke." Credit: YouTube/Mary Simms
