Donald Trump appeared on Monday morning’s ‘Fox & Friends' and voiced his support for police profiling as a means of curbing domestic terrorism.
Said Trump, “Our local police, they know who a lot of these people are, they are afraid to do anything about it, because they don't want to be accused of profiling, and they don't want to be accused of all sorts of things."
The GOP candidate continued, “If somebody looks like he’s got a massive bomb on his back we won’t go up to that person and say, ‘I’m sorry,’ because if he looks like he comes from that part of the world we’re not allowed to profile. Give me a break.”
He also commented, “We’re trying to be so politically correct in our country and this is only going to get worse.”
As an example of a country that is doing profiling right, he mentioned Israel, noting the nation has, “…done an unbelievable job, as good as you can do.”
