Riot police bludgeon journalists during anti-labour law demonstration

Dramatic footage has emerged of clashes between civilians and riot police during a demonstration against the labour law instated by the French government this summer.

The footage, shot on Thursday near Place de la Republique, Paris, France, shows riot police hitting protesters and journalists with their batons.

According to reports, at least nine people were arrested during the march.
